We are a small English run business based in
Asprieres, which is a small village in the
Aveyron near to the Lot Valley. Trek through the
beautiful Aveyronese countryside enjoying
enchanting villages, unspoilt woodland with its
abundance of wildlife and follow the river
valleys and gorges or try a canter across the
rolling landscape. Wildlife regularly seen in
the area include deer, wild boar, red squirrel,
hares, buzzards and kites.
We have a range of beautiful horses to suit
individual requirements, ranging from the
English thoroughbred, to the calm and
sure-footed mountain horse. Enjoy the friendship
created by a small party of riders exploring the
countryside.
The setting could not be more perfect for a get
away from it all holiday whilst still combining
the fun and excitement of the riding. The Mas de
Clamouze offers peace and tranquillity and there
is a definite sense of calm here. Sitting on the
terrace in the evening watching the sunset over
the valley can only be described as paradise!
Food is a big part of the French way of life and
things are no different here! We pride ourselves
on providing the very best cuisine, and we cater
for all tastes and requirements including
vegetarian and vegan. Breakfast is delivered to
your gite for you to enjoy at your leisure,
either out on the terrace or around the big
family table in the kitchen if you prefer. Lunch
is a leisurely affair to allow you and the
horses time to relax before your afternoon ride.
It will either be served on the terrace at the
gite or a sumptuous picnic is provided
‘en-route’ consisting of local foods and wines.
On your return from your days riding you are
greeted with cold drinks and snacks and in the
evening a 4 course dinner with wine rounds off
your day.
For the non-riding members of the party, or if
you fancy a break from the saddle - mountain
biking, fishing, golf, walking and visits to
some of the most beautiful villages of France
can be arranged.
All this is included in the price making it a
real ‘All Inclusive’ holiday. |
